    Ingredients:


    Chicken - 1 kg cut into medium sized pieces
    Ghee - 7 tsp
    Savola - 3
    Tomato - 5 nos cut into small pieces
    Ginger cut into small pieces - 2 tbsp
    Garlic paste - 4 tbsp
    Chllipowder - 3 tsp
    Coriander powder - 3 tsp
    Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
    Green chilli - 4 small pieces
    Cashew nut - 10 -12
    Kaskas(kasahkasha) - 3 tsp
    Garam masala - 2tsp
    Kasuri methi - 1 tbsp. (Kasuri methi is the leaves of the uluva. Ithu packet aayittu vangaan kittum).
    Salt - to taste
    How to make:

    a) Savola paste: Fry the savola in oil till golden brown. Be careful that its not fried too much. Grind the fried onions, cashewnut and the kaskas together and make a paste.
    b) Take a big kadai and fry ghee in it. Saute the garlic paste in the ghee. Once the garlic paste becomes light brown, add coriander powder and chilli powder to the above.Add tomato pieces to it. Add ginger pieces,green chillis and corainder leaves to it. Saute everything together for another three minutes. Add chicken pieces to the above with salt to taste. Add garam masala.Boil for 8 - 10 minutes.
    c) Add savola paste to (b).
    d) Boil for another 3 minutes in low flame.
    e) Add kasuri methi to it and stop flame.
    Kadai chicken is ready.
