    SpeedSix: Aurora Luna and Smoke

We use three plug-ins to achieve this effect. By using a static high-def still shot of Alberta Canada during a real Aurora cycle, we can then see what we need to simulate on top of the images good data. Learn to key out portions of the sky that need to have an animated Aurora and Blowing Snow Drifts on the the mountain tops. And learn to create custom plug-in layers to preserve Fusion’s basic settings. This is a must for compositors and matte painters alike.

    SpeedSix: Lightning Rain And Beam

Project1: Turn a matte painting into a time slice effect with Beams and Lightning. Use the 3d compositor inside of Fusion 5 to move teh camera through a PSD file. Project2: Use rain and lightning to create a dynamic shot from a still photograph. Use luminance maps to create cloud flicker and brightness. Both projects are included with this package.

    SpeedSix: Puddle3D And Texture

This video tutorial has 4 parts. First you will create an animated cloud sequence from a static image using warping tools. Next you will create a electric lightning sequence in the clouds using a variety of color correcting and masking techniques. Then you will create multiple layers of snow WITH collisions on the surface of an iceburg. Finally, create moving water from a static image. This tutorial is a must for any compositor or matte painter, regardless if they use speed six plugins or not.
